My best advice is to get there when it opens at 10. Don't expect a theme park like Disneyland, even though it has some Nickelodeon characters. It's more of a coaster park. Can't say I'd recommend the Invertigo, considering that's the one where people were stuck for several hours a few weeks ago.

If you want to check out the waterpark, Boomerang Bay, bring along a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen (you can take that stuff back out to your car and come back in). It's a lot of fun but also best enjoyed early before the crowds swarm in.

This Saturday is 'bring a friend' day, with a $24.99 promotion for passholders to bring guests at a reduced price, so it will get crowded.

We went sat, arrived just before 12pm, used a $10 off coupon, I was surprised parking was $12! DLR is $10! The surprise of the day was the Survivor, looked lame, but I enjoyed it, I could of gone back on, but that was one of the longest waits (might have been a 1/2 hour). The park never seemed busy, and everyone was polite, good experience overall. I was reminded that I do not like standing roller coasters....

Actually parking at DL is 12. It went up about a year and a half ago.:D And 6 flags are 15 for parking. I haven't been to GA since 1997:geek:

Oh, well, I have not had to pay for parking for the last 5 years at DLR, so I guess I did not notice :). As far as Magic Mtn is concerned, I like to go on my company nights, where they open at 6pm for us, and close at 3am, free parking!

Also, what is the name of that tower that randomly shoots water out of the top, showing people below? Anyone seen a good video of it on youtube?
