CARLSBAD, Calif. (Jan. 14, 2003) - LEGOLAND Family Huddle Kicks off Nest Week- The LEGOLAND Family Huddle, an official Host Committee sanctioned event, is Thursday, January 23. The day's events include a special concert by Jessica Simpson and the building of an 8-foot tall Vince Lombardi LEGO Trophy. Guests can enter the Dryer's Ice-cream building contest which teams parents and kids and challenges them to "build" the tallest stack of ice cream scoops. Local cheerleading squads will be on hand to get the crowd pumped up. Many NFL players and celebrities are confirmed to attend. Proceeds benefit the Greater San Diego Inner-City Games and Athletes & Entertainers for Kids.
