QuikQuote: Media conglomerate and theme-park operator The Walt Disney Co. Wednesday said Lou Meisinger, general counsel and executive vice president, would retire to pursue several legal and other opportunities.
Meisinger plans to reunite with former law partners to help build an entertainment and media practice for the firm of Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton in Los Angeles, and he will work with ADR Services to provide private mediation.

Yea! Could this be the beginning of the end of the waaay over-rective legal department??:)
