To cut to the chase, I am looking for a new camera. I have been doing lots and LOTS of research over the last year or so.

I am a fan of Canons and have started to like Nikon a little.
I own a Canon but for what I want its to bulky and I would like to slim down some.

So I am here to ask your opinions on this matter. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what you like?

What I am looking into is, its slimmer, has an optical zoom of more than 3x, easy usage, has good/great picture quality, and the megapixel/screen is of good quailty as well.
And I want it to be able to take great night shots!!

I have an EXLIM....by Casio, I think. LOVE it, it fits into the back pocket of my jeans...

I bought a Canon Powershot SD790IS (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=16718) and I love it. It's really easy to use, takes great pictures day and night. I got it so I could avoid taking my DSLR to the park and it's about as big as a thick wallet, so I can carry it in my pocket no problem. The view screen is huge. It has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. and image stabilizer and face recognition.

I have a powershot too!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! I also didnt want to haul in a big camera to Disneyland anymore and this one does great!
