View Full Version : MouseAdventure Summer Warm Up: Are You Game?
Do you know how much I really dislike 'non-real' math questions (left-to-right order vs math order)? I bet you're not to shocked to hear that, AVP!Cathy, Cathy, Cathy. It's MouseAdventure, not Trig 301! You KNOW this is how we do this!
Yes, the answer came out evenly, and if you can't figure out where you went wrong, double check your answer for K.

I know (and you learn that in pre-algebra!) But I just had to say it.
You're right, K was wrong - but I think I had issues with H also
I couldn't find any reference to the magic eye theater, so figured it had to be Philharmagic. When I searched MousePad for "Magic Eye" I got references to HISTA and Captain EO
Oh, and regarding teacups - there are TWO answers on the park guide page - both 18 and 16! (Text at top says 18, General info section says 16)

Even after I played around with a couple of the answers, mine still didn't come out evenly. Guess I'll wait for the answers next week and see where I went wrong.
At least I'm not the only Math-weird person around here!! Maybe it will help in Reindeer Games :D.

It won't! and it might hurt (like here)!
There was one question a couple of games ago that was doing a ton of unit conversions. I started doing them while we were captive on the Mark Twain after we'd finished our trivia (that was a new thing I think they only did that one game) - basically from memory. When I got to a 'hard division' number I kind of said 'forget it, let's find Bev and Tracy'. Because Bev and Tracy HAD The answer just for the asking! I LATER saw that we were given the conversions (on the back of the game materials), but it still required ugly division.
That was also the game that we were joking around in the 'pre-thread' about it being school related, and we started wondering if there were going to be chemistry questions. It started to concern some of the staff that we were guessing a little to close to the actual game material, because there WAS a quest that required use of a 'Disneyized' periodic chart.

Is the answer "King Experience?"

I just read back a page and realized you already had a winner and my answer was wrong. Oh, well. I guess I will try again next week.

So I finally figured out how to make it come out even.
Check your answer for B, it says two different numbers for the same thing in the article. The correct one is the difference between the old number of ride units it had vs. the number it has now. Look under "The Attraction's History".
Check your answer for L. Again, there are two different numbers in the article, you want the one that actually says "Ride Vehicles".
And, like AVP says, check your number for K.
And do your math wrong!!

Thanks - that was my other 'issue' one.
So I had 2 wrong because of the 'double answers' in the park guide, plus 1 was 'really' wrong (because I didn't read closely - and even as I was writing that one down, I thought it was 'too simple' of a response!)
And the instructions DID say to 'do the math wrong' so that mistake would go under 'read everything, assume nothing' error.
