I have been to Disneyland more times than I could actually count and a special time is non other than Christmas Time through New Years. I had the most amazing trip back in 2002 when my mom (god rest her soul) booked us at he Grand Californian from December 24, 2002 til January 2, 2003. It was a really amazing trip that I will remember for the rest of my life and the last time I spent it there with my mom before she passed on. I love spending all the time I can but being in college so far away it is tough and expensive. Well I went with a friend of mine just this last new years just to see how I could plan out a trip for a couple of 22 year old guys who just want to be kids and have fun. Doing it at the last moment it was not that bad knowning most of ropes around dinners and resort itself. This year we will be attempting the same trip but going into much more depth insuring us the greatest new years ever. The trip so far is as follows and if there are any other people persuing this dream vacation and do not have a lot of money it inot to far out of reach here is the intinerary as if today:

My family will be there about the same time as you. We arrive on Sunday and leave on Friday. This is a dream trip for me, I've never been for Christmas or New Year's and we're bringing our 5 kids for the very first time. I can't wait to see their faces light up when we get there.....They actually have no idea that they are going yet. It's going to be a Christmas morning surprise from SANTA! I hope you have a great trip!

Yeah! I'd love to meet you too Malcon10t, at least to say Hello. We're doing a "Southern California Christmas" this year and will be in southern California from December 19 through the 26th, leaving on the 27th.

We're not sure what the agenda is yet; we will be planning soon. Sorry we will miss you DisneyFreak86! (I love that time too - between Christmas and New Years)

Wow we love DLR while its all decorated up for Christmas.

We heard alot of great things about the ESPN Zone and decided to eat there on our last trip and was fairly disappointed. The food was ordinary, I can't say it was great or bad, just ordinary. After we were done we wished we had stayed in the park or basically gone somewhere else for dinner. I must say though our server was very nice. While we have not tried the Jazz Kitchen.

Our next trip will be February and one of our things on our to do list is try new places to eat.

Good idea, I have never been to the Blue Bayou and have been going to DL since the 70's. This time my wife and I have decided we are going to have Lunch or Dinner at BB. Jazz Kitchen sounds like a great idea also, Thanks!!! Do you have any recommendations or favorites at JK?
