My wife and I have been players in the MouseAdventure events for several years now. And as always, I want to thank all of the MousePlanet Staff and Volunteers for the wonderful memories these events provide.

We are probably one of the worst teams for the EyeSpy Quests, so I have a question.

How many hours/days do you and your teams spend in the parks?

I would bet that Peter's Pans spend more time in the park than at home :D

Clue Crew Investigations tries to spend a day or two each month at DLR, but we tend to be rushing around and not notice a lot of details (two kids: 9 and 6)

Since we moved to LA we usually spend 8 to 10 hours there every Sunday. Before that we would spend an average of 3 days every 5 weeks either at DLR or WDW.

Being that three of the four of us are Cast Members, that's probably a true statement!

But before we hired on for the Mouse, at least two of us would typically visit the parks on the weekend before MA to "refresh our memory" and to take note of things we never noticed before. It usually didn't help much (though I seem to recall one time we noticed something that came in handy), but we always had fun. Otherwise, we would just visit the parks for fun a few times a month.

Your signature is hilarious PanFan, we always thought someone should put a book together of stupid things said by people at DLR!

When we lived in CA we would all go to the parks at least once or twice a month, sometimes more. Now that two of the three of us have moved cross-country we have to rely on our memory and especially our teammate who still lives in CA and goes probably once or twice a month. We always make it a point to arrive early and spend at least one day "studying" the parks to see what has changed before the game.

EyeSpies have never been our strongest aspect of the game though. We are always afraid of teams like Peter's Pans who practically live at Disneyland!

I played several times before becoming staff. I think the key isn't just knowing the answer -- it is also knowing where/how to find the answer fast, being able to understand what the question is asking and practicing puzzles at home so you can look at it and figure out how to solve it. No problem right? ;)

I don't practice puzzles at home - but you really have to understand basic puzzle formats. Mark had one on the Mini-MA at MK last MouseFest that was a standard puzzle format you'd find in a puzzle book. I don't think he had any excessive directions with it, but I knew right away HOW to solve it (although I was unsuccessful IN solving it :eyeroll:) - but other teams came up to him at the end and asked how they were supposed to know what to do. Even if there'd been very detailed instructions on how to solve it, it takes more time to read and understand them - then if you inherently know how to do it.

Some games (as I understand - I've only played in 2 and purchased one other 'for fun') are heavier on the "puzzle" aspect than others.
