First trip in over a year...what's new?

So we are finally going back to DLR after over a year. Our last trip was in Feb 08 and I was 5 months pregnant with our DS so I already know I wanna ride some mountains :D. I haven't been on here in a long time and I have been trying to catch up on all that is going on at the resort. So far I know that IASW, Castle Walkthrough and Midway Mania are all things that have opened since we were there last and I am seeing stuff about the new Fantasmic, but I am not sure on the details...anything else I am missing? We will be there sometime during 2nd week of June. What days should we be aiming for? I know there are grad nites but maybe less crowds are worth the shortned days? I am so excited to see some of the changes going on at DCA - it looks like they are really doing a great job and I absolutely love the new classic mickey tie-ins the are doing at paradise pier.

The "new" summer fireworks and F and EP officially start June 12th and I think run daily/nightly for a couple months at least. If you are flexible and want to try and see those, I would shoot for then or a couple days before if your trip is more than a day or two. Have a good time!

Pixie Hollow. And as of June 12th I think they'll have the night time enhancements up and running.

I love reading the park updates. If you have time read through those. It has tons of info and pictures on all thats new in the resort. I look forward to Mondays when I can go on this wonderful sight and read up! Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks for all the help so far. I forgot about pixie hollow and the fountains right there are different too now right? I think we are going to try for the 9th, 10th and 11th to try and get some lighter crowds...need to check the weather too. We can't wait!

Not sure the the castle walk throught was open or not last time you were there, but it's open now. It's fun to do at lease once.
