Hey everyone...hope this is in the right forum. I applied to work at the Disney Store this summer and was wondering if anyone knew if employees there were full Cast Members. The application seemed to imply that (capitalizing "Cast Member"), but I wasn't sure, and I forgot to ask the manager. Any clue? Thanks! :)

Not sure what you mean by "full" CM, but yes, Disney Store employees are considered CMs. The husband has a co-worker who has a daughter that was just hired by a Disney Store, and she gets a pass to get into the parks like a regular cast member, though I would expect there are some blackout days, like with other cast members.

I guess that's what I was asking...if they had the same/similar benefits as CM's who work in the Parks. Thanks!

Are the people that work at the Disney Stores considered CM's? Do they get the same training as the CM's in the parks?

The ones I have encountered seem just as "cheery" as those welcoming you to MK!
