I am still trying to decide if the Fantasmic show premium seats is worth the cost, my son will be the adult price...

I think that this will take a huge chunk out of your budget. If you plan ahead a bit, you can arrive at the late show for Fantasmic about 30-40 minutes early and get a good viewing position. We actually stood right behind the premium viewing seats by the edge of the planter. Same view as the premium seats, just about ten feet further back. Beforehand, we could sit on the low curb surrounding the planter and chat with others waiting for the show.

Then there is also the "Center Pole Trick" for another good viewing position.

There are plenty of people here who love the premium seating experience, but in my opinion, the benefits of a reserved seat and the refreshments they offer are not worth it. To compare...you and your son could both dine at the Blue Bayou (which is quite expensive) for the price of one premium seat.

Either way, Fantasmic is a great show, and with the new improvements, it should be more spectacular than ever!

Enjoy your trip!

Sounds like your set with your food order. But just as an alternative:

ART does go to Target on Harbor and Chapman. You can check their site and print grocery coupons from home before you leave. :)

Thanks!!! didn't know that I will keep that in mind.... we may head down
that way anyhow for dinner one of our nights, son loves Red Robin, and we
do rather well dinner wise eating there....

I am hoping subway still has its 5 dollar foot longs while we are there, my son
and I actually love eating there...

We decided that giving up a few meals out was worth the fantasmic show especially
since its all new this summer.... we sat and watched it last year and were lucky to
get a great spot, but this year we decided this was our "splurge"....
