Hi, are there any microwaves in the food court at the Pop Century Resort? It would definitely come in handy for heating up oatmeal or whatever that we may bring, rather than buy our daughter breakfast each morning. We figure it doesn't hurt to save wherever we can! Thank You!

I'm pretty sure that I saw some in the islands where the drinks are, but didn't use them myself.

We just got back and yes there are microwaves on the islands after the cashiers. Where the drinks and other things are.

Just a word of warning: As much as I LOVE Pop Century (truly, I do!), the Food Court is an absolute ZOO in the morning during breakfast and also after the parks close. FYI as you plan your breakfast oatmeal!

Ha! Zoo is a relative term; after all, some people love zoos (the plural for zoo looks really weird). It can get a bit crazy, yes, but as long as you "pack your patience" and wait your turn, it's not too bad; buy into the craziness and have fun with it. I love to see all the families getting their stuff together, excited about their day (or happy/tired at the conclusion of it). It's part of the fun for me. I like the zoo over the more subdued food courts of the moderate resorts.

I do like the energy of the food court - as long as I can find a place to sit to eat and as long as my food isn't cold by the time I pay for it (which both can be an issue at Pop in the morning!)
And TOTALLY agree on how fun the people watching can be in the a.m. You can REALLY tell which groups have been there a few days and were trying to go-go-go, and which were just getting started on their trip.

To help the finding a table situation, one of us sat and saved the table(I had an ECV, so it was hard) and the other one went and got the food.
I think we were there, when it was a bit slower, we were there last week. We never had a problem getting food and it being cold. We did have someone jump in front of us at the pizza line. People.:(

Pete - believe me. There is nothing subdued about the food court at POFQ (moderate) at peak meal times, it is far less organised than a zoo! Your constant ability to see the best in everything we discus still has me in awe though :) :)

We stayed at Pop for ONE night in July waiting for our week reservation to start at The Contemporary. I was in love with the theming on-line. This was my choice to stay our entire trip. This was one time hubby saw it coming. I am sooooo glad I gave up the saving money battle and let him book the rest of the trip elsewhere. I was very very pleased with the selections at the food court. I was also not blown over at any of the pricing. HOWEVER, we left that food court empty handed because it was toooooooooo loud, toooooo crowded, and no place to sit.....PERIOD. We just arrived from 7 hrs straight in a car and we were not willing to stand in a line 30 people deep with no tables in sight. That was after going through the droves of people to make a food selection. I wouldn't plan on this at all if you plan to leave with sanity before starting a long day. I'd choose another no-cook option in your room. Just my opinion.
