My nephew who is 8 made me promise to take him to Legoland this summer. Which i am happy to do. My problem is I'm a Naturally big guy. 6'6 250 pounds. Currently playing college ball with.
I have troubles getting my legs to fit in space mountain and Winnie the Pooh because of my height and size.
Curious if anyone who's been to legoland know if it's a tight fit.
Thanks for the help.

My DH is 6'3" and 350 pounds.
He could ride almost nothing at Knott's.
Most Disney is OK...except the SM cars are small and he often has to ride the dark rides alone so he has the whole seat. Some rides just aren't comfortable for him, but mostly the older ones, everything in the last 20+ years is fine.
He could ride everything comfortably at Legoland except the Knight's Tournament...he was too wide for the chair...you might be ok b/c your legs dangle, so height should be less of a problem than girth :D

Thanks for the help. I know they are starting to make rides larger for people with girth, but man do I wish they would work on the height thing, I know I'm in the minority with height, but it sucks riding when your knees are crammed against the front of the car. There are times when I want to scream in pain because it hurts so bad on SM sometimes.

My sons get a magazine from Lego and they advertise a BRICKMASTER CLUB ( I think that is what it was called) and it is 40 bucks for the year and with it you get 6 lego sets ( one every 2 months Looks like they are about a 94 piece set) 6 magazines, 2 LEGOshop.com coupons and a LEGOLAND California admission ticket and then it says other rewards. It seems like a great deal especially if you are going there because I think that one ticket is more than 40 bucks and then he will get a suprise in the mail 6 times a year. Just thought that I would pass that along. My kids LOVED legoland. My dad is on the heavier side about 250 but he is only about 5'4" and he didn't have any problems on anything. I wish they would put one on this side of the country. They have a small center in Chicago but it doesn't look like as much fun as the park (but still want to check it out tho!!) Have a great trip!:)

I believe that Cedar Fair runs Knotts now and I also have trouble in other parks ran by them. Not on everything but on a few of the big coasters. And I realize it has to do with safety. It is giving me incentive to loose some weight to go on those rides though!

I go to many of the parks with bigger guys, and don't remember any rides at Legoland being a big problem. If you cross your ankles getting into the tight cars like Space Mountain, that can give you a little more leg room. Usually at Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks, it's the coasters with over the shoulder restraints, particularly if you have a burley chest or wide shoulders. You just can't get the restraints low enough. X at Magic Mountain has a couple special seats for bigger guys, and but California Screamin' at DCA has no trouble fitting in a big guy. Have fun.

I think it has more to do with the age of the various rides than who owns the park. Legoland is a new (comparitively) park and is designed to accomodate more body types, as is DCA. Older rides at Knott's, DL and Magic Mountain are not going to be as adaptable.

I don't know. I have more trouble on the newer rides at Cedar Fair than the older ones. But have never had any problems at any other parks, new or old. But there is always plenty to ride for me to get my thrill kick!!
