Tell us your favorite food in the World, where it is found, and why it is your favorite.

I do have one limitation.

You cannot vote for Dole Whips, Zebra Domes, cheese soup at Le Cellier, or Grand Marnier Slushies. Too obvious! If your favorite food is one of these, tell us about your second favorite. :)

Shrimp and coconut curry soup. Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. My sister and I have actually driven the hour and a half drive from my house to have a bowl of this for lunch. Then we drove back home without going to a park. (We had to be home in time to pick up the kidos from school.) Crazy I know but she was pregnant at the time. I was not about to stand in the way of her craving. Especially not one as good as this. I was in for sure! Seriously, this soup is so good I dream about it and my prego days have been over for years.

I can't pick dole whips????

Okay, second choice... A Viking Coffee and piece of lefse from the Kringla Bakery in Norway. Perfect addition when watching Illuminations! Figaro Fries are amazing and a must during a trip as well...

Next trip I am going to Kona Cafe to try Tonga Toast. I can't wait!

My brain is all cluttered so I can't think right now so this is the first thing that came to my head and I might have to change it!

I can't go a trip without having roasted almonds. Just the smell gets me! During a hot day at Epcot I love getting a Edy's Strawberry single scoop in a waffle cone. It's very refreshing.

My boyfriend wants me to write his (I'm shocked because it used to drive him nuts when I would be on MP!). He LOVES jalepeno cheese stuffed pretzels from AK. He saw them when we first got into AK. He decided he was going to get one later on in the day. We split up. The girls got ice cream and him and my father went to find them. I called him and asked him where they were. He was whining that they just did 3 laps around AK looking for the pretzels. He then asked where we were. I said standing in front of the pretzel stand. After searching for them they were obviously worth it because that is all he talks about.

More of a snack but, CHURROS!

I find the perfect churros on my way to Splash Mountain!

Oh dear. I have always thought churros were Disneyland only. Is nothing sacred?!

Note to self: never ask questions if you can't handle all possible answers.

Chocolate Mousse from Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot.

Do I really have to explain it? It's chocolate, I'm an addict.....there you go.

You cannot vote for Dole Whips, ... cheese soup at Le Cellier, or Grand Marnier Slushies.
What?? Cant include them? Those three items together can make an entire meal. :)

Choosing second place is going to be tough... Ill be back.

A couple of quickies come to mind: A cinnamon bun fresh out of the oven at the bakery on Main St in MK and frozen Cokes at AK.

Going by frequency of purchase only (excluding the 3), I'd have to say the Strawberry Bar from the ice cream carts. To me, it's more 'refreshing' than a Mickey Bar (though obviously, if I'm in the mood for the 'heavier' ice cream and thicky yummy chocolate, that's the way I'll go), plus it's "better for me". I always seem to decide it's time for one as I'm exiting Animal Kingdom, and get it at the last cart on Discovery Island before heading back to the exit. I can finish it before I get all the way to the buses, so it's just perfect sized.

My new favorite thing at WDW is at the Plaza Ice Cream parlor..... 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream in a freshly made waffle cone. I wish I could get that good of ice cream at home! Edy's here at home doesn't taste as good as it does sitting there overlooking Cinderella Castle, watching CM's hover over us to grab our table in preparation for the next parade.... It was so smooth and creamy and wonderful hunks of strawberries strategically placed within the mound of pink yummy ice cream.

*SNAP BACK INTO REALITY*

If you ask Goofygirl, she would say the Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes from LeCellier.

GusJr. would say pancakes at Chef Mickey's...
How many more days till August 8th?

well, since I have only been just once as an adult... I guess this is not really a favorite but I did love it enough that when planning this year's trip... I said we absolutely have to eat at Planet Hollywood again so I can get a ......Banana's Foster Cheescake. It's to die for! IMO :D

Hands down -- The ribs @ Flame Tree BBQ in AK. We cannot make a visit to AK w/out eating lunch @ Flame Tree. We also love the seating there--down by the water, looking across @ Everest, or deep in the lush jungle--fantastic!

Since you won't let me choose my Cheese Soup, I'll go with the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake at LeCellier -- just perfect

I'd pick the Filet with Macaroni and CHeese from Jiko. . . or maybe the sausage appetizer things from Raglan Road. . . or maybe a dipped to order rice crispie treat from Goofy's Candy Factory. . . . hmmmmmm

We are like the same person! It doesn't taste the same when you are back home! I'm not crazy. :fez:

I know that is my favorite thing to eat there, and my sister claims it is the only reason she still goes on vacation with us! ;)

As for an actual meal....I will have to wait until we go back in September. It's been a couple years since we've been there and I cannot remember eating anywhere except the Crystal Palace!

My 8 year old daughter says the hot dogs from Casey's are her favorite, and I have to admit, I like them a lot too.

Husband loves the Canyon Skillet from Whispering Canyon Cafe.

So I'm not crazy either? I was wondering if it was because I had bought Edy's light version. So then I bought another brand of full fat stuff and got sick. I guess I ate too much at a time. I can't wait for more when I get down there in 106 days!

thanks for the mental reassurance!

I think my new favorites are both at Raglan Road (although I think goofygirl's cream cheese mashed potatoes might be right on the mark!):

Tomato Gin Soup (and I HATE gin!)
Fresh strawberries in champagne with meringues (and I don't like champagne either!)

Honorable mention to the Soup de Jour at Le Chefs de France one October evening--curried pumpkin soup....
