I just took a trip with my 10-year-old son to WDW, and happened upon a fun way to include folks back home in our trip.

We bought postcards with pictures of attractions that we wanted to do, or characters that we thought we would see. For the character postcards, we got autographs of the characters on the postcards, and either mailed the cards to ourselves back home or to people we knew were especially fond of the character.

With the attraction postcards, we used a Polaroid I-Zone camera to take a picture of one of us at the attraction. (The I-Zone takes pictures the size of a postage stamp, and we had film that had sticky-tape on the back. No, I don't work for Polaroid...) We then stuck the little picture on the postcard and mailed it home or to a friend.

We had a real blast doing this - I recommend it to others!!

What a great idea! It's always fun to get mail, even when we usually only take day trips to DL. We're always looking for new ways to approach a day at the Park with the kids--thanks :)

p.s. Welcome to a fellow North Countian!

This is a cute and fun idea...

I am telling my girls about your fun idea, as they love to send postcards to their friends and relatives when we go to the parks.:D , and two of my girls have the I-Zone cameras already...

That's an incredible idea. That's a fun way to get the kids involved and to share the Magic with your loved ones back home. GoofyDad, you'll have to change your user name to GeniusDad.
