The most recent Disneyland Update (http://www.mouseplanet.com/parkupdates/dlr/index.htm) says that kids eat free at the Jazz Kitchen in DTD. Anyone have details? It says in the update to see restaurant for details, but I can't see the restaurant from where I'm sitting in front of my computer, so if anyone knows the skinny (with an adult purchase? certain days?), I'd appreciate it.

The details have changed a few times since they first started the program, which is why we refer you to them. The most recent incarnation was: Get one kids meal free, (from the kids menu), with every adult meal purchased between 4:30 and 6:00 Monday - Friday.

OK, I went by the restaurant this morning, spoke to three different people, got three different stories, and the manager finally settled on this:

The offer is valid 7 days a week, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm only.

It's one free kids meal per adult meal ordered.

Now, some of the servers have been told that this offer is only for APs, some have been told they are not offering it on weekends, and others have been told that the offer is "on hold" until after New Years. But as of this morning, the offer is valid 7 days a week for everyone, and the restaurant manager should be able to help clear up any confusion your server may have.

I just want to add that we ate there yesterday and the food was the best we had during our visit to DL, OTHER than the Blue Bayou. The service at Jazz Kitchen was incredible. Enjoy!

AVP This is what I was just told when I called. The phone number is 714-776-5200 and the following items are on the kids menu:

pasta
chicken strip
grill cheese sandwich

When I called RB Jazz Kitchen on Friday, 1/3 I was told they no longer have the kids eat free deal. Was a little disappointing, but we went to Goofy's Kitchen and had an excellent meal and the kids enjoyed it more than they would have Jazz Kitchen.

Another reader told me the same thing today.

I just called the Jazz Kitchen, and spoke to Ryan, the manager on duty. He assured me that the special IS still valid, and that any MP reader who wants to take advantage of it should please be sure to ask for a manager when they visit.
