Spa Treatment appointments... How far out?

I'm taking my daughter to Disney for a Mother/Daughter short weekend trip. We are staying at Saratoga Springs. I would like to go have our nails done and maybe a facial together. Does anyone know if I have to make an appointment or is it pretty easy to get a walk in or just one day in advance appointment. I'm hoping that I don't need to book this months in advance like dining because I would really like to be somewhat spontanious for this trip since it is just the two of us and spontinaity is more of a possibility.

I too am curious about the response. I will be at SS and AKV a total of 4 more times this year. Hopefully I'll get to enjoy at least a pedicure at one of them!!!! I have not used these services before and would like to know what the "rule" is about reservations. This will come in handy as AKV is our new DVC home.

When I went to the GF Spa, I got my appointment about 5 months out. When I got there, they were scheduled to the hilt. This was on an October late afternoon weekday. Of course, as GusMan says, your mileage may vary. I'd blow a call in to them directly and just ask. They'll be able to tell you how easy it is to "wing it." Such a nice, nice sumptuous thing to do!
