Tables in Wonderland with Dining Plan

Does anyone know if you can use the Tables in Wonderland card (formerly Disney Dining Experience) in conjunction with the Disney Dining Plan. For example can you use TIW card to get 20% off your alcohol purchase that is not included in the Basic Disney Dining Plan?
