Hi all...

Just a quick question. If you purchase an item at one of the parks, or downtown disney, do they still deliver it back to your room for you, or do you have to now pick up before you leave the parks??

Well, sort of; as long as it's not your last day there, they will deliver it to your resort. At Pop Century, you could pick up your items at one of the registers in the gift store near the food court; they don't deliver the items to your room. It's a great service, and still free. And, I should say that I don't know if it works at Downtown Disney, but I do know it works at all the parks -- someone will come along to clarify, I am sure.

Just in case, they deliver to most of the DT Disney hotels as well! We stayed at the Royal Plaza and I was so happy to find out that the big ol' board game I bought for my son (as a Christmas present to be given later) could be delivered! It was awesome! They had a list behind the counter - just ask. Free and it was there the next day for me to pick up at the front desk. (our hotel gave me a note on our door to let me know it arrived - but I don't know how true that is for every hotel). Comes in so handy for large items or suprise items to be given to certain people later. ;)

it's actually to any resort that's physically on property. if you look at the list on the green sheet they mark up, it's surprisingly long.

most of the shops in the DTD marketplace should do it as well.

the cutoff date is actually the day before the day before checkout. because checkout is at 11 am and they anticipate it being ready by afternoon, so the day before checkout isn't early enough.

also for club level, it will go to the room. for everyone else, it's the gift shop.

alternatively, the parks offer package express where they will send packages to the front (or additionally the IG in Epcot). that requires 3 hours prior to package pickup.

perishables and i believe extremely fragile items are not able to be delivered.
