This summer I'm gong to the East Coast to visit with relatives and am most likely going to go to Six Flags- Great Adventure. Has anyone been to the park? Can you share tips? How are the coasters? And the most important question....
WHERE CAN I FIND A MAP OF THE PARK ONLINE?????
Thanks

hmm... let's see, have you checked the official website for a map already?
i've been so many times to Great Adventure i realized the last time i went that i hadn't looked at a map for about 4 years.
coaster that are good IMO (these may have clones in other Six Flags parks):
Nitro - huge, tallest drop i've ever been on, steel coaster, loops, etc. no shoulder harness at all, so kinda scary just 'cause there's no shoulder harness. a nice long ride, very smooth coaster. wait for the first row.
Viper - i forget what the term is but this coaster does the twisting thing... sorry for lack of better words to describe, and has a great drop in the beginning. unfortunately, there may have been an accident on this ride or something 'cause it happens to always be closed whenever i've gone the past year. first row is best.
Rolling Thunder - favorite old wooden roller coaster, lots of bumps and twists, and plenty of airtime! go on the left side of the line, that track is better. go last car last row for more bumps and whiplash, hehe.
Great American Scream Machine - steel coaster, i think with 7 loops. this ride gives me a headache, IMO and makes me really dizzy. lots of whiplash.
Batman & Robin, The Chiller - dueling steel coasters, 1 or 2 loops depending on which track you choose. and then when you're done, do the whole thing backwards!
this used to be a great ride, until they put in new shoulder harnesses which are like blinders, and and sticky and smelly, ew!
The Batman - inverted roller coaster, hangs underneath the track. the first car/row is fun. nothing too special though.
Medusa - floorless coaster, you don't notice there's no floor though, so nothing special.
secret ride you might miss because it's so hidden: Houdini's Mansion or something, i don't know the exact name. tries to do the Disney theming here, but the theming is sooooo bad!
the ride is kind of interesting though, you might get sick if rides those big pirate ships that rock back and forth get to you.
oh, and if you have a rental car, or a car which is strong and not easily damaged, and also easily washed... don't miss the Safari!!! the baboons are hilarious!
and all the animals are so close to you, can't compare w/ DAK's Kilimanjaro Safari at all. except i'm sure Disney takes better care of their animals... by keeping them at a safe distance from humans who do things like feed animals junk food (at GA safari)
ok i've rambled on long enough.
HTH.

There doesn't seem to be a map at the official site.
Here is a not-great one:

And here is the same map much bigger:

I don't know how current those maps are.
