Al Lutz is no longer Editor-In-Chief for mouseplanet.com.
The same for Kevin Yee.

What happened?

Did Karl Buiter (owner of mouseplanet.com) and Al have some sort of falling-out?

See Al and Kevin's new site at: www.miceage.com

Heh... MP just isn't the same without him... glad to have a DIG update for once though :)

I'll defintely be reading Mice-age to get my fix of Al's always riveting Disneyland rumors and observations. His and David's articles have been the driver of my interest in MousePlanet's editorial policy... what keeps me coming back (along with this great newsgroup).

I hope David becomes a more regular contributor in Al's absence, as consumer products, WDW tourist tips and the like really don't float my boat. (Wanna see a Magic Morning, come over to my house...).

Without Al, I hope this site doesn't become a sanitized PR product center like Laughingplace (Zzzzzzzzz). Though I love LP's comprehensive daily newslink list... (Darkbeer's efforts are improving the MP equivalent, but I'd love to see a greater expansion of this service. If MP had all of the article links LP has, I would stop going over there at all).

More Disneyland, please... and how about some Feature Animation gosssip/rumor/commentary on a regular basis?

I am just a stockholder these days and not actively involved in the management of MousePlanet. I may have logged a total of 8 hours at Disneyland since February.

I got my own mobile/handheld technology development company to worry about :)

About the only thing I am doing for webs is taking pictures of monorails in the Las Vegas area. Its the old railfan hobby in me.

Maybe those who like Al's style of constant complaining will follow him to the new site, leaving this one better for the so-called loss. This is the best news to come out of the world of Disney for some time--truly something to celebrate!
