I will miss having Al on here at Mouseplanet, he was one of the main reasons I stuck around...guess I will have to keep checking his new site now too. He may have been a bit too pessimistic at times, but at least he didn't sugar coat things like the way the Disney company constantly tries to do. I will miss his dose of "realism". Bye Al, and good luck with the new site. :)

I will also be checking Al's (and Kevin's) new site!
But MousePlanet still offers MANY different articles, and I will still check this site daily for new articles! AL's move just made me read one more site a few times a week...but a loss of one or two writers does NOT make MousePlanet any less a excellent site!

Yes, I will miss Al, too.
I enjoyed his reports, I don't need everything sugar coated. ;)
I wish him luck on his new webpage and I will be sure to check it out!!

By itself, perhaps not. But defections from MP have left the site with (correct me if I'm wrong) one lone Disneyland news writer, David Koenig. Down from, I believe, four Disneyland news contributors barely a year ago. Unless something is done to recruit some new blood in that department, MP is going to be bereft of what passes for the hard news in this type of enterprise.
Whatever the solution may be, I will certainly miss Al's candid cynicism. I may try following him around from site to site for awhile, but I've got a sinking feeling that Al's voice will slowly fade away from these particular ears. Too bad. I think Al Lutz is the perfect antidote to the PR fabrications and lies that Disney foists on the public.

Well, I won't miss Al. That's because I will be reading his site regularly as well. I came to MP because I followed Al here as well. I will never stop comming here, but will visiting both. MP will always be my "home" site.

I bashed Al plenty when he was here, but I'm still sad to see him go.
Most times he got the facts right, some times he pushed the opinions too far...
But he always made for interesting reading. And that's why I'll miss him.
Between him and Jim Hill, and Fabulous Disney Babe, the DIG used to be a primo source of information, concentrated in one place. They all still write, but MAN, that was a magic website. It was golden.
Hated you, Al, but I loved you too!
