Without cheating by looking at a guide. Can anyone name all the shops on main street in order. starting from when you walk in the park left side all the way up to the castle, then back down on the right side.

I dont think i could correctly name the stores if i was standing directly in front of them, but let me try.
Lets see there is a Triple AAA kiosk, then City Hall, Than ladies room and mens room, Fire Station, Empiorium, A watch store, Carnation eat place, Bakery, Arcade, Coke Corner, then big restaurant, then another big closed restaurant. I guess thats it.
And then to follow your exact directions.
big closed restaurant, then big restaurant, Coke Corner, Arcade, Bakery, Carnation eat place, A watch store, Empiorium, Fire Station, mens room, Than ladies room, then City Hall, Triple AAA kiosk.
Thats all .
:)
Guide 1 (souvenir stand just outside tunnel); AAA kiosk; City Hall; restrooms; Firehouse; Gate to backstage; Emporium, which continues through "Crystal Arcade"; New Century Watch Company; West Center street, with restrooms at west end; Carnation Cafe; Blue Ribbon Bakery; "Penny Arcade", which is really an adjunct to the Candy Store; Coca-Cola Corner; West Plaza street, with Gate to backstage at west end; Plaza Pavlion.
Back up the other side:
Plaza Inn; East Plaza street, with First Aid, Lost Children, and Gate to backstage at east end; Photo Corner; China Closet; Chester Drawers/Disney Clothiers; East Center street, with Ice Cream stand and lockers at east end; Market House; Disneyana; Main Street Cinema; 20th Century Music; Magic Store; Disney Showcase; Gate to backstage; Mad Hatter; Opera House/Walt Disney Story/Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln; Bank Of Main Street; alleyway to restrooms; Guide 2 (souvenir stand just outside tunnel).
How'd I do?

Like i said even if i stood in front of the building i would be unable to come up with the correct name.
But since you have declared a winner than you are way to slack with your answers and would never last in any of the Mouse Adventure hunt game thingies.
Looks like the correct answer for lets take "Coke Corner" for example ---------------looks like the official name for that place is "Refreshment Corner" so Coke Corner is incorrect.
I bet that 50% of the answers that you say are correct are in fact wrong, but it's your question and you declared a winner, but its cool that it looks like i got 2nd place.
Ya-hoo!

Nope cranky-pants, you don't get 2nd place. You both forgot to mention the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, located between the Blue Ribbon Bakery and the Penny Arcade. BTW, do you know the name of the green "glass" elephant in the ice cream parlor? Penny. Look for other pachydermal details the next time you're in the Penny Arcade.

Dammit.
At least I didn't call it the Sunkist Citrus House.

You also forgot to mention the restrooms behind the AAA kiosk. If you're gonna mention the ones North of City Hall and to the East of Carnation Cafe, you'd better mention these. Afterall, they have feelings too!

I also didn't mention the side doors to the Emporium, Coke Corner, China Closet, Disney Clothiers, Market House, and Disney Showcase, and if you want to get really picky, the porch by the China Closet, the exit to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and several dummy doors which are only there for atmosphere, including the Marceline Hotel (sp?) on East Center.
So what.
The question was can you name all the shops on Main Street from memory and I think JBKMC and I did pretty well.

Thinking this is getting less fun than it was when it started

I wasn't trying to insult people's attempt, I was merely being detailed. You were naming all the buildings incl. restrooms. You even mentioned the bathrooms by the bank. You didn't label and doors or entry-ways, though. I was merely pointing out this missing element.
Nuff of that jumble, good job! :D

Well, tod mentioned Disneyana, 20th Century Music and the Market House. So, 2 points to you for remembering the silhouette shop (which, I believe is part of the China Closet) and Arribas (sp?) Brothers. But minus 3 points for not reading tod's post.
JBKMC: 13
tod: 43
gn2dlnd: 1
refurbmike: 1
Mad Hatter: -1
tod is definitely toddling along in the lead!

For the even more hard-core Disneyana fans...
Who could name the 2nd floor "businesses"?
I could only think of the Chinese resturaunt, workout gym, piano lesson, marceline hotel, some dentist, and some detective agency. Anyone remember the names?

I can only tell of the ones that mean something to me:
Marc Davis, dealer in South Seas art, above the Disneyana Shop
Ken Anderson, bait shop, above the Market House
Van France, above the tobacco shop (now the music store) because he was an unrepentant smoker
Harper Goff, teaching banjo lessons in Adventureland
ABC Business College, a tribute to the money the ABC television network had thrown into the pot (things change, don't they?), near or maybe directly over Blue Ribbon Bakery
Herb Ryman, one of three teachers at the art academy over the Kodak corner on the Plaza Inn side
Claude Coats, selling big and tall men's clothes (to fit his 6-6 or so frame) over the Emporium on the Firehouse side
Yeah, yeah, Walt's dad with the light in the window over the Emporium on the Main Street side
Ron Dominguez over the Market House
Christopher Miller, somewhere, Walt's grandson
Wally Boag theatrical agency over Blue Ribbon Bakery or thereabouts
Frank Wells over the bank, I think, somewhere on the east side of Town Square, Seven Summits travel agency if memory serves
Jack Lindquist over City Hall
That's all that comes to mind right now.

smacking himself on the forehead for missing the Silhouette Shop and Arribas Bros. Not that I'm a perfectionist or anything, but I like the crystal shop and I'm irritated that I missed it.

Marcelline Hotel in the lockers alley - The Disney's hometown in Missouri

The "lockers alley" is called East Center street. There are four streets off Main Street, U.S.A.: East Center, West Center, East Plaza, and West Plaza.
They used to be real streets, with curbs and sidewalks, but the Center streets got "raised" in the '80s (and West Center is now mostly the Carnation Café). The Plaza streets were probably raised at the same time.
