The Evil Queen

I've always been under the impression that room service when on a Disney cruise is already included in the price and is at "no charge". However, after a friend of a friend came back and was recounting details of their cruise, she mentioned that was not the case.
They did order room service and were charged at the end of their cruise. What's going on? Anyone else have experience with this?
We're going on December 31 and want to get all these little details straight.
Thanks!

All food onboard except in the specialty restaurant is included. Non-alcoholic, non-carbonated beverages are included (coffee, tea, juice, etc). There's no extra charge for room service. Perhaps the charge was actually her pre-paid gratuity?
Our afternoon "thing" on port days was to order a pitcher of iced tea and some fruit and cheese. Great way to relax and cool off after broiling days.

Maybe they ordered soda? Soda is free at the soda station and at dinner but not for room service.
And remember- you can get Mickey Bars but you must ask for them. They aren't on the room service menu! :D

I was able to get the Mickey Ice cream bars at dinner but can you get them from room service too? Are they available anywhere else? Those are my favorites!
For our first cruise, I thought I read somewhere that you could get them by the pools but when we got there, they were on the menu for the kids desserts - but my server gave me one too! I was disappointed that I could only get them at dinner.
You made my day!

Yes, you can get them from room service. Did just that a few times. :p
They don't appear on the Room Service menu, but they are available on request.
