Hi! My husband and I are considering driving to Disneyland from our home in Las Vegas with our 14 month old. Does anyone have any advice for a smooth road trip? Any suggestions on nice clean places to stop along the 15 when the baby gets fussy?
TIA!!

On our way to Disney we always stop in Barstow-at the lenwood exit( the last one). There is an in and out we often stop at, and many other fast foods. They have always been clean. We drive straight there from that point.
Our son (2) will sleep most of the way.

I have never done that drive, but I hear about the giant thermometer....I guess that wouldnt apply if you are driving in winter...
I say stop wherever you see an in and out, get double double animal style...you cant go wrong

It's been a while (used to live in Vegas, with AP's every year) but I second the suggestion of the Lenwood exit just west of Barstow. To the south is an outlet mall, which we were usually too impatient to hit until the trip back, which is surrounded by food places - including the aforementioned In-N-Out. To the north is an interesting truck stop place. Not much to look at, but it's a decent all-in-one stop with food (including a Subway), a mini-mart on steroids and the typical long-haul amenities such as showers.
At least, that was the case three years ago... :)
Have a great trip!

In my trips up and down the 5, I have found those grungy truck stops have some of the best gas prices around...people pay 10-15 cents more to go to a pretty shell or chevron, try to grungy truck stop. They all sell unleaded, and usually for less...
