View Full Version : Firefighter gift shops Airspoon 11-04-2008, 07:46 PM Hello, all. We are on our way to Orlando in December! I know there is a 'hidden' gift shop for firefighters in Disneyland, and am wondering if there is a similar spot in DisneyWorld. Any hints or tips? Thanks! GusMan 11-05-2008, 04:41 AM If I recall correctly, there is a firefighter themed shop right next to the horse stable, next to the washrooms in the town square. Basically, as you are entering the square, it will be on your left hand side next to the stable. I hope that helps. Drince88 11-05-2008, 05:12 AM GusMan is right. I haven't tried this, but apparently if you go to to the town hall and call the Disneyland Firestation, not the one on main street, but the real one behind it, where the cast members dress, A fireman will come out and direct you back there. Apparently any fireman or policeman can do this. They are said to have unique firefighter t-shirts, mugs and more, that says Disneyland Fire Department. I did not find out about this until after my last visit to Disneyland in 2004. I am hoping something similar is available in Orlando. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!! Drince88 11-06-2008, 04:57 AM If that's what you're wondering about, it might be better to try at the main fire station, which is not in the MK, but elsewhere on property. I've gone by it multiple times in buses, but since I haven't gotten a car in eons, I have really no concept of where it is (it's near a gas station - yea, that helps :rolleyes:) tdelaney_98 11-07-2008, 06:03 AM It's near the Hess gas station over by the Studios and Epcot, right?? It looks like it's made of cement block, and painted like those blocks are large bricks. |
