When we go to WDW we will be having a break on one day to things out side the park. We will be going to the MVMCP at night and would like to be in the park around 4pm.
The girls have a manicure scheduled for 11:30am at the GF Spa.
I am trying to figure out what the boys might like. There are 4 of them - DH, FIL, GFIL& the boy (9yo).
I was thinking about he fishing excursion but was wondering if it really worth the money. Has any one done one? How was your experience?
I was also thinking about the fishing off a dock that is way cheaper. Anyone do this one? How was it?
The third thought was just renting a boat and cruising around. Has any one done any of the boats? Where? How was it? Prices?
Any other thoughts are welcome as well. Thanks.

I'd think renting a boat could be fun for that group. I've never done it, so don't have any input on that.
Would they enjoy miniature golf?

Yep....The boat. We rented a 17 foot boat. I've never driven a boat before and I did fine. It was SO much fun. One hour on the Lake should just about do it while you get your toes done!

Hmm. I am not sure. I know my son had a good time when we went this summer but I am not sure about the other three...

Good to know! Do you remember how much the hour was?

Right around a hundred, I think. I'm thinking it was $47 for 30 minutes or something close to that. For four people, though, that's not that bad. About twice what minigolf would cost. Call 407-WDW-PLAY to get current prices and see about making reservations. I didn't have to make a ressie and surely, there won't be an issue, but just to get the idea of cost and such. The GF marina is very nice. I've used it twice....
Oh--you could bump up a little and do a pontoon boat if you wanted a little more room to move around. Take a picnic lunch.....etc. That might be nice!

What about parasailing? They can tandem sail and it is so much fun! The boat rentals are fun as well. My husband and son have done both!
We all love the miniature golf course, my personal favorite is Winter Summerland! There are also loads of Backstage Tours they might enjoy! There are a few that a younger child can do, such as the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour or the Family Magic Tour!

So I finally got around to calling and checking out some of the fishing options and have decided it's just too much money. They did have a Cast Discount but I would have actually had to go with them as opposed to my husband getting the discount because he is my dependent.
I think we will just go with the boat rentals. DH just has decide which kind to do. Since you do not reserve a head he can make up his mind when we get there.
Thanks for the thoughts!!

What to do with the guys? Aren't they going to be busy pampering the girls?! ;) (Just kidding but I couldn't resist.)

During our last trip, DS and I went to DisneyQuest while DW and DD had a mommy/daughter day. It was fun playing games, if they like that sort of thing. This is my 2 cents. :)
I ditto Disney Quest. My husband and son spent at least 4 hours there and still didn't do everything.

Thanks for the DQ idea. We tried it once...we walked out in less then an hour and got a refund. We are just not gamers of any form. We have had a Play Station for over two years and I think we have probably logged in less then 100 hours total.
