There has been some reports that this is indeed the case. However, there have also been reports that they have been cracking down on what you can get.

For many snacks that are included in the DDP, there is a little DDP icon next to the items price.

I still think the best advice is still when in doubt, ask the CM behind the counter first.

I think they exclude things like pizza, which is considered more of an entree. The snacks are clearly designated on the menus. You can get a lot of small breakfast items, like fruit, with snack credits.

We stayed at ASMu this past September and biscuits and gravy were considered a snack credit.

They actually make it pretty easy; they have a "snack" logo by anything included in the plan as a snack, even in the food courts at the resorts. However, I've heard anecdotal evidence that some CMs are more lenient than others, so if in doubt, ask!

When I was at the Caribbean Beach Resort in January, there was a case in the food court that was set up with a wide range of items that you could get with snack credits.

The last time we were in the World the CM's said that only things under $4.00 that were considered a "single serving" were allowed. Much to my dismay, the big bag of gummies for under $4.00 no longer qualify. :crying:
