I turned off the option that sent e-mails to you when someone else posted in a thread you have posted in. I figured that Im on this board enough to not need this option.

Since Ive been housesitting for the last week I didnt access my e-mail and when I got home I had 100 plus e-mails from mousepad. I still get notices even though I have turned the option off.

What do I do??

I just double-checked your user options and you've got your default set to "no email" when someone posts to your thread. I don't know what else needs to be done but I think you may be the only one with this problem who's voiced this so far.

Let me know if you continue to receive email notifications.

Just a shot in the dark, you probably know this... Did you pick the option at the top of any thread that says "Receive updates to this thread" If so you can find them and unsubscribe in the "profile page" under the buddy list. Though i dont think that sends you an email.

As far as i can tell, it has stopped. But we'll se tomarrow if I get blasted with hundreds of e-mails!!!
