What is an "e ticket" ride??? GusMan 10-22-2008, 02:39 PM This term dates back to when WDW and DL used tickets instead of a one-price entry. The different rides required different lettered tickets. The tickets were labled A-E, with an E-Ticket being the most popular or thrilling attractions. Attractions such as Space Mountain would be an E-Ticket. Even today, the most popular rides such as the three mountains, Test Track, or Expedition Everest, are referred to as E-Ticket rides even though some of them never had their names associated with the old paper tickets. Here is a Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_ticket) that describes it a little more as well and provides a few interesting links with pictures and descriptions of the tickets that were once used. It comes with a reproduction ticket book with the A thru E tickets. The content of the DVD is pretty interesting too. :) |
