I'd vote for the POFQ. Begniets (sp?) win my vote every time. POR is second (begniets just a short walk away ;))

I really don't like the Pepper Market (at Coronado Springs)at all and I have no memory of the one at the Carribbean Beach so it can't be that special.

Kathy, I merged your similar threads.

Personally, I only have experience with POR and thought it was some of the better CS around. We found it surprisingly good. Their late hours made it very convenient to get a quick snack after the parks.

Beignets are FAB at POFQ, but the rest of the food is lack-luster. POR has a GREAT food court, IMHO. Those are the only two I can comment on.

HOWEVER, POFQ, Pop, and POR are NUTSO during busy breakfast times. Absolutely NUTSO......Stay away....

The food court at POFQ completely did my head in. Having to queue at 4 different stations to get 4 differerent meals, all coming out at different times, then queue again for desert then queue again to pay. Utter nightmare. Don't do it ;)

I love this site but I hate it when you start using just the letters when you talk about a place. I have never been to WDW so I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm going in March and I come on this site to gather info for my trip I hate to be a pest but where is this place you are talking about?

That would be Port Orleans - French Quarter. I have to stop and think at times still.;) I am so very glad that you are going to Walt Disney World for the first time. You are going to have a wonderful time.

Nanny,
You might want to check out this article in the FAQ forum (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=8117). It should help you interpret some of what is being said.
The acronyms are pretty much widely used in the Disney online community.
At the same time, I have to admit, we do sometimes get get a little acronym crazy. :)

Thanks GusMan! I will check out that Forum. With the Canadian dollar dropping:crying: I hope I can still make this trip one that I won't soon forget. I have my res. already made for the Royal Table so that much I know my grand kids will love.:D If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do or not bother to do while in WDW with 3 kids under 5 I'd be most grateful

My apologies, nannyt. I get so used to the acronyms as a shortcut that I forget not everyone on here knows them all......Sorry!!!

Moderate Food Courts: Cheshirecatgirl's humble opinions!

Port Orleans: average
PORFQ: also average except for scrumptious beignets!
Coronado: Food is good and some different choices, but the seating is odd. It's like a food court, but someone seats you and gets your drinks and you pay after eating instead of before, unless you get it to go. Sometimes this can be a pain, but the food is good!
Caribbean Beach: unmemorable, except once I had an excellent sandwich here.

I actually think the food courts at the All Stars are quite good! Just as good as the mods in general.
