I'm a FL resident and this will be my first time buying the discounted tickets online. I was pondering the difference of having them mailed to me vs. picking them up at will call. My biggest concern being skipping the wait at the ticket window and going right to the turnstile.
When you buy FL resident discount tickets, do they mail you the tickets or do they mail vouchers that you have to turn in at the window anyway?
Thanks!

I believe they mail you vouchers that you have to turn in because you have to "prove" your FL residency with your ID. So either way, I don't think you can just go through the turnstile.

They mail you vouchers. You need to show proof of FL residence to activate your tickets.
I'm not sure how it works through AAA, but I know the first time you use the tickets you do need to show ID too.

The only location where you can get "live" Florida Resident Passes is WDW. It does not matter if you get them online, by phone, from a Disney Store, AAA or any other seller; everything that you get is actually an Exchange Voucher.
To get a live ticket you have to go to any Park (including water parks and TTC) ticket window, any Guest Relations Office outside a Park or in DTD, or the Lobby Concierge at any of the Disney Resorts. Anybody Age 18 or older must show a current Florida ID and the names, addresses and birth dates of all Guests are entered into the Automated Ticketing System. The actual ticket will be printed with each person's name on it.
(Note if you by any Annual product you cannot get this done at a Resort, only a ticket window or GRO.)

If you are AAA or know someone that has AAA, GO THERE!!! My dad has it and I was able to get 4 day parkhopper passes + 4 other (waterparks, quest, etc) passes for less than the florida parkhopper pass. This was mid summer, but we walked in, showed his card, ordered the tix, they gave us plastic voucher things and we were done. Got to the hotel and went to the park the night of checkin and got the vouchers exchanged for our tickets. really simple, and well worth it. Have our last parkhopper and last other tix scheduled for late December. I really think it was a great deal. Again, YOU do not need to be the AAA member, just bring one. I even paid on my CC.

This was a special promotion from June 4 through August 16, so it ended over two months ago. And the only upgrade that can/could be done on these special passes was to an annual product with no price bridging. And if you used any of the minor park entries the only upgrade possible would be to a Premium Annual Pass. (I work at ticket sales at WDW.)
