Travel method: By Car
Resort: Castle Inn and Suites 1734 South Harbor Blvd
Accommodations: Non Smoking room, 2 queen beds
Ages Represented in Group: Husband 40, Wife 41, Daughter 7, Son 5
Disney Resort Experience Represented in Group: Awesome
Comments: Great Stay
We left at 4:30 am from Norther California and arrived at the hotel around 12:30 pm. We were able to check in early. Our room was on the second floor in the corner at the back of the hotel. After we got unpacked we went into the park. My husband upgraded his pass to a premium and enjoyed the park late until the evening.
For dinner we ate at the French Market and they had super good food and service.
Friday though a different story. We went into early and the park was fine, rode alot of rides during the day. Left and ate dinner at Dennys. Ok food, had better. Went back into the park and there were a ton of people. More people than I have ever seen before and I have been visiting Disneyland since I was a kid. The reason was that California Adventure closed early for the Trick or Treat event and everyone (I mean everyone went to Disneyland). I will make sure that we do not visit the park next year when the Trick or Treat even is going on.
Saturday and Sunday spent all day between both parks. Beautiful weather and the crowds were just right. Saturday ate dinner at the Rancho Del Zolco (Mexican food) super yummy too.Plaza Inn has wonderful food. Did not have to make reservations to eat an early dinner on Sunday around 3:30. Even got to watch the parade from the dining area.
Monday we went into Disneyland at 9 am and left around 2:00. It was a great day to end a wonderful Fall Vacation with my family.
We will be going back December 13th for our sons 6th Birthday.
