Two weeks left before WDW! We want to bring our backpack for our 18mt old. We took our older child to France in it when she was 18mts and it was great. Both kids are so much happier up on their tall Dads back. However, I had assumed on baby friendly rides, like its a small world, we could fold it flat in front of us. But someone told me, you can't take anything like that on the rides. Has anyone had experience with this? I certainly am not talking about rollercoasters, but the jungle cruise or the animal kingdom safari rides might be ok.

This last September when we visited WDW, I used a regular size backpack to tote our stuff. Althought it isn't as tall as probably what your talking about, I put it on my feet for almost every ride we went on. Actually, I can't think of any ride except the Rockin Roller Coaster that I didn't have it with me.

Not to question parenting ways but, it's good to remember that even though the sun is not as hot as the rest of the year; it good to remember that if the sun does bother you younguns belly, your husband might end up with some very messy things in his hair.:o
