I was reviewing which places were included in my DDE plan and noticed they say members of the DDE get newsletters and special offers etc. Have any other DDE members gotten these? I have been a member since August and not received anything. Not a big deal, but what am I missing out on? I am gonna contact them about this, maybe an email issue or something.

This is probably something new. I've been a member for 2 or 3 years now, and I haven't received any special mail.

The only email/ newsletter I have ever received was the one recently about it changing names and the one for Bocuse D'or.

A couple years back I did get some info on a special dinner or two - including the food and tea pairing lunch that happened to be when I was there, that I got to attend.

At the time, they had real issues with their email system - they just used outlook mailing lists (or something of that magnitude) and couldn't even check to see if there was a name in the list because it had gotten so big.

If you didn't get the emails recently about the name change or the competition, then call them during business hours. There's a fairly small staff, so don't call at lunch, etc.

I'm not sure if the (US MAIL) mailing I got for the F&W Fest was from TIW or just because I'm visiting then, or have visited at that time before, or what.

I've gotten several e-mails over the years that we've had the DDE card about special dinners, F&W fest info, etc.

I wonder if they target "locals" more than out of town card holders?

I have been a member since July and haven't gotten anything.
