I have heard that some little girls dress up for the meals at Cinderella's Royal Table, do they mainly dress up like Cinderella or other princesses too? Is Cinderella the only princess that is at the breakfast? What about little boys, do they dress up to? Thanks!

While the dinner meal is not technically a character meal, of course, Cinderella is there greeting at the door... My daughter will be dressed as Princess Belle. She has a Bibbity Bobbity Boutique appointment about an hour and a half before our CRT dinner... followed by MNSSHP. My hope is that this is the night that she always remembers. After all how many times does a six year old get to eat in Cinderella's Castle?

Little girls may dress up or not, but a little girl in costume will not be alone. It's hardly a costume party, though. I have not seen little boys dress up. Several princesses make an appearance, and girls will dress up as their favorite. In short, it's all up to your child. My kids went through their princess phase, and for some trips, the costumes were their main attire. This was usually the case in late fall and winter, when the costume was more comfortable. In summer heat they would not stay in costume all day. I recommend that you bring a change of clothes, or at least have regular clothes on underneath the costume, in case she gets tired of wearing it.

This is a great time for little ones to dress up, not only for meeting Cinderella but to eat in the castle. The castle is fancy and staff do treat you royally. You don't have to dress up but again this is the time if you ever wanted your little one to dress up. They can dress up like any character. They give girls a magic wand and boys a sword when you go in to be seated. I agree with the previous poster to have a change of clothes or clothes on under the costume, may not want to stay dressed up all day. We took our 5 & 7 yo daughters to lunch at the castle and on that day they met Cinderella on the ground floor for a picture then went upstairs to eat. While eating, Fairy Godmother, Belle and Mary Poppins came around to each table. I'm not sure how it is at breakfast and dinner though. I recommend at least to do this one time if you have little ones.

Breakfast and Lunch are character meals, and several Princesses are there. We had Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty at ours, with Cinderella downstairs greeting everyone (and getting pictures taken) as they came in.
Last year my daughter wore her Cinderella dress. This year she has said she wants to bring her Belle dress.

We went when my daughter was 4. We had an early breakfast time. We used this to our advantage and took some great pictures of her dressed up in front of the castle with very little crowd.
She is now 12 and working on a timeline project for school. An event for every year of her life. For her 4 year old year her event is breakfast with Cinderella, her choice of event. She remembers and loved it. This was before the time of Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. But even with out that extra fun she loved it and remembers.

I go to Cinderella's Royal Table every WDW trip & I have definitely seen both boys & girls dressed up... quite adorably, I might add. The breakfast has LOTS of princesses (although I haven't been to that in like, 4 years), & the dinner has a Cinderella photo in the waiting area & then a little show with the Fairy Godmother. Then some mice come around for photos... last time I was there, they handed out cards with their autographs for efficiency! & definitely get a wand &/or sword... instant cute photo op.
