I purchasedmy WDW package in September and now I received a thing in the mail for free dining during the time I will be going, does anyone know if I can get that applied to my package after the purchase?? I really hope so that would be nice to get a little refunded back to us!!

You should be able to apply any 'new' discounts (and free dining is a discount) to an existing reservation. Just call up Disney and ask for it!

Unless it specifically says you can't - but I'd still call and ask. Adding that disclaimer isn't 'normal' for Disney.

As long as your reservation qualifies for the Free Dining sent to you in the mail (same dates, resorts etc) you just need to call your TA or Disney and give them the pin code/ details and you should be able to have the Free Dining applied. I have changed a bunch of reservations recently for clients to do just that.

If you are flexible and your resort/ dates don't match you should also be able to change your reservation accordingly.

I went into the travel agent and gave them the free dining code and she applied it to my reservation so now WDW is refunding the dining portion to my credit card:D

Keep in mind that Disney is not going to alert you of new offerings that may save you money. However, if you call them and ask, they will tell you what is available for your trip.

Some TA's do offer a service where they monitor the special codes and see if they can save you money by applying them to your reservation. But even then, there is no guarantee.

Also, keep in mind that not every reservation will be eligible for every discount code and at times, availability may be limited.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your question regarding the free dining code I received.. I have been trying to get ready for our trip and get everything in order at home and at work hehe. The dates were 11/9- 11/22 and 12/14 - 12/20 if you booked the package, says it has a limited number available... hope this answers your question:)
