In 2006 my husband and I went to WDW for our honeymoon. We ate at a restaurant in Epcot in Italy, I think it was called "something" De Roma. The waiters walked around and sang a song and tried to get the audience involved waiving their napkins etc.. My question is, when I tried to call and make an ADR for this Nov for our family I was told that restuarant was renamed to Tudio Italio or something.. Does anyone know if this is the same restaurant?? Mainly because the main reason we wanted to go there was to let the kids experience the "song".
Thanks so much for any responses!

Quick answer:
Alfredo's of Roma was the old restaurant, new restaurant in the same space is Tutto Italia.
I'm pretty sure there's no more singing.
I'd check out the menu (and the prices) I hear that the food is good but a little pricey now.

Tuttu is part of an American chain based in California. Many people here consider it extremely overpriced. And rumor has it that the restaurant will actually be closed shortly for several months to do a major redecoration and name change.

There is a prix fixe deal that you can get that is indeed extremely overpriced. But you can also order regular items off of the menu, and to my recollection it's no more overpriced than any other Disney restaurant. I enjoyed my meal there, although they have so many tables that I felt I was also dining with the nice ladies at the next table!

Alfredo's was one of my favorites. We tried the new Tuttio in January and were very disappointed. The cost is probably about the same but the menu has totally changed. The food was not nearly as good and of course the fettucini alfredo was gone:mad:
