Hey Everyone,

The newest Travel Channel (aka the Disney and Las Vegas Channel) special called "Disney's Best Kept Secret" (Not quite) shows the rooms for the newest BLT complex. They are very modern looking compared to most of the other locations, not in a bad way, just in a different way. They showed the one bedroom villa and I think they were probably bad camera angles, but the living room/common area portion of the villa did not look very spacious compared to others, again, my guess is a bad tv, not rooms. Anyway, I thought those of you interested might want to keep an eye out for that special.

My husband and I were trying to figure out whether we could afford the points to stay there. The jury is still out on that one. :)

Saw the special and thought it was pretty good. And I have to agree that the glimpse of the BLT rooms probably did not do them justice.

As for the show itself:
But by no means did the special provide any real information about how DVC membership "works" or any costs - just about what it offers.

It was like "look at what you can do as a member" but did not say how many points you might need to do those things. We were thinking that some of the things they were showing required a boat-load of points.

Consider it an over-simplified look at what DVC has to offer.

Thought it was interesting that every couple seemed to be from the southern region of the U.S. (and the one family from Puerto Rico).

I think a better sell would have included a family from the West Coast or Midwest -- and something about the new ones at the Grand Californian....
