Or as Tim Russert would say, "Florida! Florida! Florida!"

Bad enough the Disney company itself blows off California.

I'm guessing you are upset about all the WDW related articles on MP? It's a little tough to tell from your post.

I thought this was going to be a rant about the Marcie person on some other website.

Sailor Butterfly, can we ever do right by you?

You do right on almost a daily basis. But I figured you'd get bored of me saying "Congratulations, well done on another fine article."

I agree 100%. There is an abundance of WDW articles on MP. Not enough Disneyland articles. With an abundance of DLers on here I would figure that there would be more DL articles. Oh how I long for Al's updates.

I have been cheating on MP cause I really don't have interest in WDW. I feel naughty ;)

Okay, I accept this challenge and I have facts to back me up! :D

Historically, the number of MousePlanet DL articles vs. WDW articles has always favored DL. Not WDW as some of you seem to think. Here is a breakdown on the number of articles just from the last six weeks:

Week of 9/30: 6 Disneyland-related articles; 1 WDW-related.
Week of 10/7: 4 DL; 3 WDW; 1 Home Theatre.
Week of 10/14: 6 DL; 2 WDW.
Week of 10/21: 3 DL; 3 WDW, 1 Home Theatre.
Week of 10/28: 4 DL; 1 WDW.
Week of 11/4: 4 WDW articles so far.

So, statistically, one week does not a trend make. Besides, if MousePlanet is providing trip planning and other resources for Disney parks, shouldn't we be providing coverage on parks other than Disneyland? :)

Guys,

It's a theme week. We've done those before, for both Paris and Tokyo. We're not abandoning the West Coast, but we do have quite a backlog of WDW material, and it's a good time to run it.

The funny thing is the WDW people complain that we're too DL-centric!

I think you guys use the letter "C" too much. Whatever happened to good old "R." I mean, sure it's great for all the "C" fans out there, but what about the rest of us.

Did you announce it was a theme week? I don't really care all that much about the articles, but it might save you some grief down the road if you say "Hey, its WDW week and boy howdy, do we have some WDW goodness for ya!" or something. Maybe you did that and I didn't notice it. If I see "WDW" I tend to tune out.

Really, this is the first I've heard about it being a theme week.

This from the man who uses "C"s in every single one of his posts. I'm mean, really - I am able to post without using said letter - let's see you try it! :D

Honestly, I don't think we labeled the Paris or Tokyo weeks either. Didn't think it was an issue. But, I'm sure the powers-that-be will look at it in the future. ;o)

(Oh, heads up - I am planning TWO WDW panels next week, to review the Halloween events I attended last week. Just to let you know. Ahead of time. So you're prepared. :~D )

I think you guys do a good job at keeping us informed. If it happends to be WDW stuff that I don't care to read, no big deal. I can wait. With all the info out on WDW if we get 50% of the articles about DL it may be considered a little DL heavy. But that's the way I like it.;)

Thank you MP for a job well done.:D
