Garden Grill no more lunch with Character?

So I read, Epcot will stop the character lunch service as of October. Does any one know if this is true or not?

I had a res. for Garden Grill for lunch in early December. A few weeks ago, I read on a website that yes, lunch will be discontinued. I called Disney to ask if this was true and it is. I rescheduled my res. for dinner on the same day. Disney stated that they were going to begin calling the guests with lunch res. to have them rescheduled. I didn't get my call before I called, but I guess the reason was because mine was for December and they started calling the October ones first.

Yeah I read the report about it here and another website. A friend and I were having the are you sure argument and I was like, "Yes!! I know I read it somewhere." I couldn't remember. We are not going to WDW for a few years so maybe by then there will be something else in it's place. Thanks for the answers.:)
