What is the easiest way to get to Disneyland from Anabella?

We have stayed there once before and we drove because we had parking on our pass. This time we will have to walk and I remember reading about a shortcut through GCH. It sounded a little confusing so I'd like to print it up and take it with us. We did walk one time through DTD and that seemed really far. I'd love to shave some steps off of that trek. Also, how can you find out if the Timon lot tram is working? That may be an option if it is. I just don't want to get there and find out it isn't then have to walk all the way around. We've done that before and it wasn't fun.

Here you go. They're probably too detailed but this is the answer. ;):

As you leave the Anabella, walk west on Katella to Disney Way (the corner with Tiffy's, Coco's and the Paradise Pier Hotel.) Cross the street towards Disneyland and continue up Disney Way towards the Grand Californian Hotel. (I can't remember if there's a sidewalk on the DCA side of Disney Way. If not, walk on the sidewalk by Paradise Pier Hotel and cross the street at the Grand Californian Entrance Traffic Light.)

Once at the hotel, stay on the sidewalk and you'll first pass the parking lot gate. Continue along the sidewalk through the valet parking drop-off area. You will come to the entrance of the hotel with the big sliding doors. Enter the hotel.

Once in the hotel, almost immediately turn left. You will pass through a hallway with a few sets of steps (ramps are available to your left.) The ballrooms of the hotel will be on your left and a glass window overlooking a courtyard to your right.

Go to the end of the hallway and exit through the sliding glass doors. The courtyard will continue to be on your right.

You will shortly come upon a covered walkway to your left. Turn left through that short walkway, you'll arrive in Downtown Disney near Libby Lu.

Turn Right and proceed to the Esplanade.

We stayed at Annabella last year, the easiest way for us was to walk to the light, down the street that Grand California and Paradise Pier are on, and walk through the lobby of the Grand, to Downtown Disney, you exit right by Sephora and go to DLand that way.

I put a response real quick and didnt read the above, someone may have given you the name of the street.....:)

They have a shuttle pick up right outside the door of Annabella if you didnt want to walk :)
