Okay, so Al put a column up today under the "Exploring Anaheim & Orange County" heading today with some spooky rather than bloody halloween alternatives. Other than the televsion options, where were the events he mentioned? Burbank, Studio City, and West Hollywood. Now, I'm not Thomas Brother, but last I checked, none of those communities are in, or particularly near, Orange County. I should know, I grew up in the Valley and drive there to visit family on a regular basis. Sure, it's an easy day trip, but it's Thursday, most of us have to be at work, so driving 2+ hours (accounting for the fact that you'd have to go in horrendous traffic), then an hour+ back is not particularly appealing to me. It might have been nice if he had found something in Orange County to write about.

Well, the Beyond Disneyland column began as Orange County once upon a time, but the idea behind it is to highlight what else besides DL there is to do in SoCal. Maybe we should change its subtitle.

He did mention in the opening article that the events were in Los Angeles. I think GD was also pointing out that it would have been nice to have some events in Orange County covered as well.

Yeah, it's not that I particulary mind him covering stuff in LA. But, no matter what the column is called, many of the people who read the column ARE from Orange County and would like to see something to do in OC. So at the very least, a mix of OC and LA stuff would have been nice. Or maybe OC really is lame enough to not have anything happening worth mentioning.
