I was wondering if anyone has taken a framed backpack child carrier to the parks and had any comments on them. Or if anyone has taken one of the convertible stroller/backpacks such as this one made by Kelty.

Great question! I am going to WDW in one month, and have a 17 mt old. We will be taking our backpack because he is so much happier when he can see from on high. I am interested in what others with experience reply to you, but someone who had gone to WDW suggested that we bring a bicycle lock so we could chain the backpack or personal stroller in front of the rides that we go on. I don't know if that is really allowed or not.

Not sure locking the item to a stationary object would be allowed by Disney. I can definately see it as being a hazard if they needed to get an emergency vechile to a location. I have head of people with personal strollers buying a ski lock and running it through the wheels, this way the device can be moved by a cast member but could not be used. Let me know how it goes in the park with the carrier though.

Thanks
