Good News! According to the official sight, Yak and Yeti is a Dining Plan Resturant.

Here's (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/dining/diningDetail?id=YakAndYetiDiningPage&bhcp=1) a link to the page I got this off of.

In essence, the only time you have to be concerned about a eatery not being on the dining plan is when you are considering a DTD restaurant.

Yak and Yeti does NOT take the Disney Dining Experience Discount card, though. You can get a percentage off your entree if you're an AP holder, but no 20% off the entire bill.

I just looked at the new Deluxe Dining plan guide and the Yak & Yeti Restaurant was removed from the available restaurant list (not to mention, like, six Epcot restaurants). What happened? Is there any chance we see this put back on the list at any point?

Some of the restaurants operated by third parties are not immediately on the DDP when initially announced. Give it a few weeks.

It has never been on the DDP. Also they have never accepted the DDE Card.

It's on the 2008 plan (http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/media/wdw/images2003/languagespecific/eng/nontheme/tickets/08Dining.pdf) for both the Counter service and Table service portions. I fully expect it to be added to the 2009 plan, once the agreements are reached.

They don't accept the DDE card, but they do provide a smaller discount on entrees for Annual Pass Holders.
