Ok, now I know what Hefferdude, the Pixie Chicks, and Mousekaholics look like.... Next time I'll get them! ;) If you're ever at the park and some woman walks up to you and says, "Are you the ice_queen?" You'll know who it is ;)
Sadly, the one team number and face I wanted to match together apparently didn't get their picture taken :( Oh well.

Why do some people look like the camera was two inches from their face and ours looks like it was taken from the next county? I'm not complaining, the farther away the better for me, but AVP seems to have pulled a "Tootsie" on us ("how far can you pull back?" "How do you feel about Cleveland?")

When you get your full-sized photo from Alex (after you send in yoru request), the photo will look less farther away. We wanted to make sure to crop tightly for the article, but not so much so that we would be chopping people's ears off. You'll notice other larger groups tend to look more pulled away, too.
...of course, I also like MickeyD's explanation. :p

Of course I'm not looking at the camera......and that's the one that was chosen to post..........:( Was the other picture worse??? Arrgh......I was too busy telling Cassidy to "Smile!" ;) Basically, it looks like all of our family pictures--profiles of me making sure everyone else is doing the right thing. Uck.

Flubber and I are certainly more appreciable from a distance. lisap deserves points for younging and cooling up our trio.
It was very nice to put faces with screen names. That way, when I don't talk to people at future meets and potlucks, I'll know who I'm not talking too.

I don't feel so bad now. I guess my head isn't as huge as I thought.... just a very tight cropping job....

I sent an email to mouseadventure@mouseplanet.com requesting the full-sized picture (#44) but I haven't gotten it yet :-/ (am not trying to be pushy, btw)

Everybody will eventually get their photos. They have to move across a couple computers before I can get them out and one of the necessary computers has been very busy on other things.

To match sn's and team names, you can compare the list on this page (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?threadid=10052&perpage=25&pagenumber=5) in one window and the pictures in another window.
(At least that's what I did ;) )

Ok so you think the picture looked so far away? Look at Team #25 "Left 'em behind". That would be me and my husband, Jason. That would be our difference in height! I'm 5ft 3in and my husband is 6ft 6in. To get both of us in the same picture you have to stand at least in another county, if not another state! :D
He never looks that tall to me! But then again....I'm really not that short either!

I have to tell you, Tink n/Stink, that I thought your picture was so adorable!
So I have to ask, with your team name, "Left 'em Behind" were you the team mentioned in Alex's article who left the kids at home Sunday? (Wasn't it great? DocKrock and I are trying to figure out a way to get the kids babysat so we can just go to DLR alone sometime- without work to do ;) )

Adrienne K Better yet print out the list and then you don't need to flip back and forth between screens. You can also check off the teams as you see them.:)

OMG someone is responding to my post! How exciting since I've only been regestered for 1 day (a long time lurker though)!
I don't know.....I'll have to go back and read it again! Probably not. That IS what our team name meant! My MIL had our 4 kids that day. Poor woman, my FIL works over at the Big Ed and was gone most of the day due to the world series game! To top that off, it was her mother's birthday dinner and party, and she had to take all 4 of my darlings with her, alone. While we got to be alone for some much needed fun.

BTW I'm always checking out the parenting in the parks articles to see if there is anything else we have missed or should know.....Thank you!

Ice_Queen, I saw your pic, and hello! Your'e gorgeous! (even without the glitter, rhinestones, sparklies and Flo-bee haircut I promised you and Stinkerbell! ;) :D )
Yes, the camera does add 10 lbs., as proved by my picture! I look like a bandana clad jack-o-lantern. (and I'm making myself laugh over that! Pathetic! :D :rolleyes: ) Oh, I hope and pray it's the camera! (as you can probably already tell, I'm way hard on myself!)
And speaking of gorgeous, Stinkerbell, hello! you look gorgeous, even with your head down!Omigosh, people probably think you posed with Jack Skellington (me and my huge mug!) Haha!
