We will be driving from west TX through Az to DLR the first week of Aug. Question is from Phoenix to DLR-which is the best route? Is there still construction in Riverside? We've been lost there a couple of times and would like to avoid it if possible!

Here is how I always go:

Take the 10 west to the 15

The 15 south to the 60

The 60 west to the 57

The 57 south to Ball Rd

Exit at Ball, turn right and go about 3 miles and

PS The big advantage of this route is once you hit the 60W you can ride in carpool lanes all the way to Ball Rd. :D

I live in Phoenix and we always go:

I-10 to 60
60 to 90
90 to 57 and get off on Katella,
Make a left and 10 min later, Your home!:D

Umm Frankie, I think you mean the 91 rather than the 90. The 90 is actually the Richard M Nixon freeway in Marina Del Rey. ;)

And you would want to make a right onto Katella. A left would put you out by the Honda Center and the Big A.
