Nope.

Once Fantillusion goes in, The Main Street Electrical Parade goes out.

There's a rumor that they may merge it with the Disneyland MSEP when it returns to Disneyland spring 2002, but that's not been confirmed yet.

MSEP will only be in DCA until November/December.

By spring 2002, it'll be back in Disneyland , not California Adventure.

OK thank you , i've heard the most fans of the MSEP in California want the MSEP in the Magic-Kingdom , is it true , but Disney as say in 1996 the MSEP will come back with new design same as Dreamlight at TDL .

the MSEP DREAM LIGHTS will NOT be coming to Disneyland.

Personally, I'm glad.

The new MSEP running Tokyo Disney looks so so, and the music is absolutely awful !

The Disneyland MSEP and the WDW MSEP are far superior to the new one running in TDL.

One reason why the original one is staying is because Pressler and Eisner won't cough up the money.

For once, I support those 2.

I am glad that we got to keep the MSEP for yet another year at DLP...
Next thing up is Fantillusion, it used to be at TDL, and from what I have heard it's pretty nice! :)

Anyone that knows anything about Fantillusion?
Please share your experience!

the only big doubt/problem is that Fantaillusions (which is a great parade) features an interwoven show in it which in the amazing tokyo version ive seen/experienced (think more fantasmic meets light magic than Spectromagic- no jokes on light magic please) it takes 120 performes aproximately and 3 stops per float to tell the story and allow the whole 30 floats to change and transformer!
Seeing the way the MSEP is presented throughout the year in DLP, by adding more and more floats year round arriving to have all 27 (DL had 29) only on some days of the peak summer season, i dont see it easily possible that DLP will import an exact replica of the tokyo version...the problem is that the performers are difficult to eliminate and the stops are necessary since the lightning and color changes to the floats and character must happen during the stops!

mickeyfantasmic - Thanks for the great info! :)

Oh, I'd just love to see Fantasmic at WDS... :D

But back to DLP night time parade... :o
I have heard/read about some complaints on the sound system at DLP.... and that the looping of the soundtrack kind of spoils the parade... Now, MSEP is easy to loop, it's the same thing over and over again.
But what with a parade like Fatillusions???

There's a story in three sections, how would they solve the task of playing out different themes during the parade route then?

the Main street pavement will have to be "reconfigured" for Fantaillusions by adding special sensors (which DL, WDW and TDL have) which trigger with the floats and tell the music to start on perfect cue with the parade the audience is watching!
think of the Space mountain music technology applied to the parade route.
WDW, TDL and DL have these special sensors already because of the parades they had which worked on the same principle (Spectromagic, Fantaillusions and Light Tragic- ehm-Magic) theses sensors look like little black slightly- circular gums stuck on the floor (geniuses).
It wont be difficult for DLP to install these...it can easily be done in sections at night...drilling small holes and instlling both sensor and fiberoptic cable...
I only hope they refurbish the sound syustem..it souind awfull (ok..im a huge HI.End Hi- FI bluf...but I know im not the only one to think this)
