ok now a question for all that have taken children to DCA

I have my two children my husband and i , dilema!!!
One of my children doesnt want to go on the rollercoaster as it goes upside down we have done this sort of thing in Australia where they will let your child wait with one of the adults (eg the DAD) while the other goes on the ride with the other child. Then when the carriage with the family comes back in the other adult goes on the ride.
do you think that they will do something like that in DCA as she is adament that she will not go on it and i do not want to line up again for another hour or so.
thanks kathy

YES! It is a child swap. Just let the Cast Member at the front of the line know that is what you need and then they give you a piece of paper that is good for upto 2 people. So you son can go on it again w/ whoever sat out the first time.

You do have to wait a little while, but it is much faster when you use rider swap. It is generally similar to having a fastpass for the 2nd person through.

You can also use the single rider option on this particular ride. My DH walked right on. Have a great trip!

Don't forget to get fastpasses so that the first people riding don't have to wait in a longer than necessary line either!

Wait a minute...aren't you upside down in Australia already? That means she'll actually be right side up on CA Screamin! See, no problems!!!:p

How old is your daughter?

The last time we went Piglet was 12, and he stood by himself with the CMs while we both rode. He had no problem with it, and he loved to use the stopwatch on his cell phone to time the ride while we were on it.

BTW, whatever way you do it, the CMs are totally cool about it and do this kind of thing all the time. You shouldn't have an problems with it.

Have a great trip! ;)

I mean no disrespect, just trying to generate some info, but wasnt the above widely bashed by many on this board, CM's included? Maybe I am wrong (it wouldnt be the first time, trust me), but I recall CM's getting made at having to babysit and do their regular job at the same time.

Anyone here know what I am talking about? My twins are two, so it will be a long time before we have to deal with this.
