Hi! Thank you so very much for your incredibly helpful to my other posts. I'm edging closer and closer to thinking DVC is the way to go. I'm hoping Disney continues to offer the 100 point plan, because that's exactly what I think my family would need for the way we like to vacation.

I plan to go to WDW every other year, and my husband gets to pick where we go the other years. He loves NASCAR, so I think many of his picks will be to go to races. Gib at DVC told me that Daytona is an easy 1 1/2 hour drive from WDW, so that will work out great for one trip.

But for other trips, we'd have to exchange points for Interval International hotels. If we only buy 100 points, I highly doubt that would get us a full week at an II hotel. Is it possible to go for only a few nights? Is there a way to find out how many points it costs to stay at II hotels?

Also if anyone knows of any other II hotels that are near NASCAR tracks, please let me know. I'm thinking Las Vegas is a possibility as well as possibly somewhere in Virginia.

100 points would not be enought to book a week via II. You would need 160 points for that.

However, you can take advantage of the new "short stay" program using II, which was rolled out earlier this year.

Also, is 100 points going to be enough for what you want to do at Disney? Many people who plan on going to Disney every other year also do the banking/borrowing thing, so they wouldn't have that 100 points for non-Disney stays.
