We are going next Sept. on the Western
Caribbean cruise. I was wondering what were some of the alternate ports used due to bad weather..ie hurricanes..in past cruises?

I guess it depends on exactly where the bad weather is and where you are heading. We were on the 4 night cruise last November when Hurricane Michelle came through the gulf, we were rerouted to tropical Charleston SC:eek: Luckily Michelle moved out in time for us to go to Castaway Cay on our last day. I have heard of other Disney cruises doing an extra day in Castaway Cay or stopping a Key West depending on the storm.

I'm only guessing, but I would imagine that they would substitute some of the Eastern Caribbean destination if there was bad weather on the Western cruise. The Eastern cruise goes to St. Martin and St. Thomas.
